Retaining Walls Built for Long Island Properties
Retaining walls solve real landscape challenges on Long Island, from managing grade changes and preventing erosion to creating usable flat space on sloped properties. Briarcliff Landscape Inc. has been designing and building retaining walls across Long Island since 1961.
Structural Wall Design
Every retaining wall we build is engineered for the specific conditions of your site. We account for soil type, water flow, slope angle, and load requirements to design a wall that performs as well as it looks.
Material Options
We build retaining walls using natural stone, fieldstone, segmental block, and other materials suited to your property's style and structural needs. Our team helps you select the right material for both appearance and performance.
Drainage & Stability
Water is the biggest threat to any retaining wall. We install proper drainage behind every wall, including gravel backfill and weep systems, to relieve hydrostatic pressure and prevent failure over time.
Terracing & Grade Management
For properties with significant slopes, we design terraced retaining wall systems that create multiple usable levels. This opens up space for gardens, patios, and plantings that would not be possible on a steep grade.
